Tee Time

Great Uncle Pee Wee took Jack-jack and his cousin golfing for the day.  This Jack-jack's first time golfing.  He was very excited.  The way he stood with his bag and clubs it almost looks as if he knows what he's doing.

Maybe a little Tiger in the making?

Tennis Match

This year Hannah decided to give tennis a whirl.  As the final game of the season was played last night, I was able watch Hannah for the first time.

Jack-jack's Room Redo

Well, the girls room is done and now we attacked Jack-jack's room.  We got it painted with Cowboy Boot brown.   A cabin, wolf, bear, dream catcher theme started, not necessarily to be followed.  There's a few things the boy just won't give up--like his pirate lamp.  Like I told Jack-jack, he has to do what he likes and wants and it doesn't matter if it matches or follows a theme.  Now all we have to do is hang some shelves and collect some fun things to decorate with.

All painted.
A soft, cozy blanket Jack-jack and Hubby couldn't resist to buy.

Gator Fun At The Farm

Driving Papa crazy on the gator is always fun.  Hold on to your hats!

Chey giving Papa a ride.

Jack-jack's turn to drive Papa crazy!

My favorite picture of the night!

Our 7th Grade Volleyball Player

Chey's First 7th Grade Volleyball Game.

Posing in her uniform.  Number 27.  The funny thing about that is her cousin Courtney plays volleyball and noticed in one of the pictures she had posted that her number is also 27.

First Day Of School-Sept. 2013

And they're off!  The kids' first day of school.  Everyone up early and were ready to go on time.  Nobody missed their bus which is always a good way to start off any school day.

Hannah is a Freshman up at the big HUHS.

The first day of 7th grade and Chey is either testing me or forgot what grade she is in, but I didn't notice, until now, that she is holding up 6 fingers to show us she is in 7th grade (?).
And 4th grade might be a long year for this guy if his teacher doesn't have a very good sense of humor.  I mean of all the nice shirts/clothes this boy has, he decides to wear this on the first day (?).

And they're they go!  All ready for school.  That is until I got a phone call from the bus (not sure whose phone was used).  A little girl forgot her violin.  Auntie Sara was going to take it to school for her only to find the bus was broke down two miles up the road.  It saved us a trip--just being able to give Chey her instrument, but the poor bus driver (and kids) breaking down on the first day!?!

Another phone call, this time from school, letting me know two children forgot their lunches at home.  That's when I told them they would have to take hot lunch (good luck with that!).  And this was all before school even started!  I can't wait to see what the rest of the day brings!  But if anything went smoothly in this household, nobody would know what to do.  It all adds to the things we remember about our first days.  To all, a happy first day of school to you!!!
